Market Analysis Consumers Suffering Pain that can be Treated through Self-medication in Europe – New Report

While the percentage of the European population claiming to suffer pain is lowest in Germany, it is highest in France and Spain according to a major new industry market report by James Dudley who is one of Europe’s leading consumer health marketing strategists.

The James Dudley study, ‘The Future for Pain Relief in Self-medication in Europe’ uncovers the shape and structure of consumer driven pain relief markets in France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain and the UK from 1999 to 2010.

While the market report covers general analgesics, topical pain relief, systemic muscle and joint pain relief, migraine, period pain and teething and mouth pain, it also looks at consumer usage of pain relief products in Europe.

More French and Spanish consumers claim to suffer muscle and joint pain than those in the other countries, says the market report.

More Spanish women claim to suffer from period pains than in the other countries, while French and Italian consumers are more likely to claim to suffer from migraine.

French and British consumers are more likely to claim pain from mouth ulcers than those from Germany, Italy or Spain.
